01Headquarters

The Team

Two engineers. We take on a small number of projects at a time, so the people you meet are the people who write the code.

  • Anmol Singh

    Full-Stack Engineer

    8+ months

Full-stack engineer building cloud-native products with React, Node.js, TypeScript and AWS. Interned at a Europe-based startup and two product companies before taking on freelance work. B.Tech in Computer Science, VIT Bhopal.

    • TypeScript
    • React
    • Next.js
    • Node.js
    • Express
    • MongoDB
    • Redis
    • AWS
    • Docker
    • Socket.IO
    • Three.js
    • Solidity

    Selected work

    • Software engineering intern at Mea-tec Battery Intelligence, a Europe-based startup: built a React and TypeScript component library of 20+ components shared across three internal products, and integrated AI models into the core application.
    • Software engineering intern at Qualimatrix: worked on an AI-powered hiring platform, including a real-time Socket.IO screening chatbot, Redis caching and services on AWS EC2, S3 and SES.
    • Software engineering intern at Venturloop: built admin dashboard pages in React with React Router and React Query.
    • Freelance: built Edunex, DeskX, and the 3D front end and smart contracts for the Ethical Xchange data marketplace.

  • Manas Singh

    Software Engineer

    2 years

Around two years of engineering at FischerJordan and Highspot. Has worked alongside Anmol on every project in this portfolio.

    Selected work

    • Employed as an engineer at FischerJordan.
    • Employed as an engineer at Highspot.
    • Worked on Edunex, DeskX and both Ethical Xchange builds.

02Experience District

Experience

Where the two of us learned this, before the studio existed.

Enterprise01/04
Two years inside FischerJordan and Highspot: code review, larger codebases and systems with real customers on them.
Web302/04
Escrow and sale contracts, Sign-In with Ethereum and encrypted delivery for an on-chain data marketplace, tested on Sepolia.
Product03/04
Internships at Mea-tec Battery Intelligence, a Europe-based startup, and at Qualimatrix and Venturloop: shipping React and Node.js features in sprints, for real clients.
Production04/04
Edunex runs in production for a school. We ship its deploys, run its migrations and fix what breaks. We operate what we build.

03Project District

Projects

Each case study is the problem as we found it, what we built, and the part of it that was ours.

  • School ERP

    Project 01 · School ERP

    Edunex

A school management system in three parts: a mobile app for students and teachers, a web dashboard for the school office, and the API behind both.

    Technology

    • React Native
    • Expo
    • React
    • Express
    • Prisma
    • PostgreSQL
    • Cloudflare R2
    Problem
The school needed one place for classes, students, teachers, fees, attendance, timetables and notices, reachable from a phone by students and teachers and from the web by the office.
    Solution
An Expo React Native app with separate student and teacher logins by school code, a React admin dashboard for classes, fees, attendance and documents, and an Express + Prisma API on PostgreSQL with files in Cloudflare R2. Every record is scoped to a school, so the same system can serve more schools later.
    Our contribution
Our first freelance project. We built the API and database, the admin dashboard and the mobile app, and run its deployments on Render and Cloudflare Pages.
  • Desktop Application

    Project 02 · Desktop Application

    DeskX

An offline Windows desktop app, with a matching command-line tool, that strips sensitive data out of spreadsheets before they're shared.

    Technology

    • Python
    • PySide6
    • pandas
    • Typer
    • pytest
    • PyInstaller
    Problem
Non-technical staff needed to share CSV, Excel and JSON files without leaking personal data, and without uploading those files to an online tool to clean them.
    Solution
A PySide6 desktop app and a CLI over one processing engine. Users preview a file, pick columns and run a saved sanitising pipeline; results go to a new file with SHA-256 checks before and after, so the original is never touched. A locked-down fetcher can also pull tables from HTTPS pages.
    Our contribution
We built the processing engine, the file adapters, the desktop interface and the CLI, plus the Windows packaging and installer.
  • Web3 Frontend

    Project 03 · Web3 Frontend

    Ethical Xchange — 3D Marketplace

The front end of Ethical Xchange, a marketplace where people control and sell access to their own data, with purchases settled in ETH on Ethereum.

    Technology

    • Next.js
    • React Three Fiber
    • Three.js
    • TypeScript
    • Framer Motion
    • Docker
    Problem
Ethical Xchange is infrastructure for many marketplaces, not one. Prospects needed to see their own industry running on it rather than a generic demo.
    Solution
A multi-tenant Next.js site with a Three.js hero scene. Each tenant, from a creator network to an AI data company, gets its own branding and marketplace variant from the same codebase, chosen per request.
    Our contribution
We built the 3D landing experience, the tenant system and the dashboard screens, and containerised the app for deployment.
  • Smart Contracts & API

    Project 04 · Smart Contracts & API

Ethical Xchange — Contracts & API

The payment and delivery layer behind the same marketplace: Solidity contracts that settle purchases in ETH, and the API that ties wallets, consent and encrypted files together.

    Technology

    • Solidity
    • Foundry
    • Ethereum
    • viem
    • Express
    • TypeScript
    Problem
A data marketplace needs secure payment, secure delivery, provenance and an audit trail in one flow, without putting files or personal data on-chain.
    Solution
An escrow contract and a file-instance sale contract with EIP-712 signed listings, pausing and reentrancy guards, covered by Foundry fuzz and invariant tests and run on Sepolia. An Express API handles Sign-In with Ethereum, wallet binding, consent and grants and encrypted file storage, and indexes sales from chain.
    Our contribution
We wrote and tested the contracts and built the API services around them.

05Delivery Route

How We Work

Five checkpoints between the first conversation and a system your team runs without us.

  1. 01

    Discover

We work out what the product actually has to do, who uses it, and which constraints are real rather than assumed.

OutputA written scope, a risk list, and an estimate we stand behind.

  2. 02

    Plan

Architecture, data model and delivery order. We sequence the work so the risky parts are proven first, not last.

OutputTechnical plan, milestones and a working schedule.

  3. 03

    Build

Short iterations against a running deployment. You see the product in a usable state throughout, not at the end.

OutputReviewable increments on a staging environment.

  4. 04

    Test

Automated tests on the paths that matter, plus load, accessibility and security checks appropriate to the product.

OutputTest suite, audit results and a fixed defect list.

  5. 05

    Ship

Production deployment with monitoring, rollback and a handover that lets your team run it without us.

OutputLive system, documentation and a support window.
